Good News!

I was wondering why there was a sudden surge of Facebook 'Likes' on our little astronomy sidewalk page. There's been 16 'likes' for the past two hours now. Then I saw someone posted a Singapore Straits Times online article entitled "30 ways to live 'cheaply' in Singapore" on Facebook.

Guess what? Our little sidewalk group was mentioned in the article! We are at number 19.

I am so happy for the people working so hard in the Singapore Sidewalk Astronomy group to promote free public outreach sessions to the masses. Their hard work has gained some publicity, at least. Keep up the awesome work, people, gambateh!
